Welcome to Graf Medical Eye Care & Vision Center

Graf Medical Eye Care & Vision Center has been actively serving the needs of patients in St George and the surrounding states by performing ophthalmogical and optometric examinations for the last 21 years.  Our goal is to assist our patients in preserving their vision at the highest level possible for the rest of their lives.  We do this through the use of the latest technology coupled with the years of experience in medical eye care, assisted by the most recent research.  Dr Graf is the only Optometric Physician who is board certified FAAO in the southern region.

New Zeiss Cirrus HD-OCT

Zeiss Cirrus HD OCT

Our latest new technology is a Zeiss Cirrus High Definition Ocular Coherence Tomograph or OCT.  It is the latest technology for imaging the inside of the eye at the cellular level with a resolution of 5 microns.  The newest update has added the ability to statisically compare for changes between past and present examinations.  We have also added the ability to scan areas in the front of the eye.  We are the first office in Southern Utah to have this instrument.  We continue to be at the forefront of technology and medical eye care for Southern Utah.  We have designed our practice to allow us to review OCT data in our exam rooms with our patients.  This helps to keep our patient's an integral part of our care.  You get to see with the Doctor what is happening in your eyes.  This instrument is the premiere instrument for testing Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinal Disease, and in fact any macular abnormalities.  It can now also test for corneal disorders, iris disorders, and angle abnormalities.  It is fast, easy, painless and extremely helpful in taking care of patients' eye conditions.

High Def Digital Retinal CameraWe have been using digital imaging to assist in caring for our patients since 2002 and were the first in Utah to be able to show our patients photos of their own eyes during their examinations.  By using advanced digital comparison analysis we are able to compare from one year or visit to the next and quickly find eye changes before they could be detected by a doctor just looking in your eye.

We welcome new patients who desire to be active participants in their eye and vision care and who recognize the value of having their doctor take time to listen to them and answer all their questions.  We are recognized as specialists who often diagnose and treat difficult cases and routinely care for common eye conditions.  We appeciate the many referrals that we receive from present patients and doctors from our community.

We routinely care for Diabetes, Cataracts, Eye Injuries, Macular Degeneration, Headaches, Double Vision, All types of Glaucoma, Dry Eye, Eye Pain, Eye Infections, Allergies, Strokes, Vascular Eye Diseases, and many others.
